MILITARY COATINGS

Working with the Military or Military-grade products comes with a unique set of rules and regulations. Military coatings are no different. That’s why it takes an experienced applicator familiar with the many Military specifications to get the job done.

Proudly Serving Our Nation’s Military

The United States Department of Defense sets the standard for all mil-spec coatings manufactured and applied to military products, including primers, chemical agent resistant coatings (CARC), powder coatings, and more. After all, defense coatings are required to provide top performance and reliability because they are designed to protect munitions, military vehicles, and other hardware used in the field.

When something as important as the performance and protection of the U.S. military is on the line, you want an experienced partner like Craddock. We have decades of experience working with coatings and finishes that withstand the effects of combat, chemical and biological weapons, and harsh conditions that come with exposure in the field.

Military Coatings Applications

We also recognize that not all of the military grade coatings are used exclusively for the U.S. military. Some are available commercially and are extremely durable, even more so than similar products designed for general consumer use. If you or your customer need a coating that’s resilient, easy to decontaminate, and extremely durable, ask us for a recommendation. It’s possible a military-grade finish like CARC or another mil-spec coating could make sense for your product and its application.
