MARINE COATINGS

Among the many industries we service at Craddock Finishing, the maritime/marine industry is one of our largest. Given that the product and coating application is constantly exposed to or submerged in water, superior protection from corrosion and the many environmental elements is critical.

Marine coatings can be applied to areas of a boat or vessel that are both above and below the water. This includes railings, trim, anchors, brackets, and other steering and motor components. Regardless of the part, we’re experienced in applying these coatings for both protection and cosmetic appearance.

Benefits of Marine Coatings

Having been in business since 1934, you and your customers can rely on the service team of Craddock Finishing to deliver quality coating solutions that ensure smooth sailing on the open water. One of the most common coatings within this industry is anti-corrosion. These durable coatings are designed to protect boats and their many components either while on the water or during transport or storage. Additionally, specialized anti-fouling coatings are frequently applied on component pieces that are consistently below the waterline. These coatings repel marine growth and are typically applied on motors, propellers, and the hulls of large vessels.

Other important marine coatings to be considered are anti-slip and UV-resistant coatings for exposed and high-traffic areas, as well as cosmetic finishes for components that are critical to the overall appearance of your investment.

What’s In-House?

We currently have strong partnerships with marine manufacturers well-known throughout the world. Our experienced team is currently painting throttle assemblies for Mercury Marine as well as shallow water anchors for JL Marine Systems brand Power-Pole, Livorsi Marine, and Bombardier.
